I haven't had much time to stamp lately - we are in the process of moving to our new home. We have purchased land, and have been working getting it ready for us to move into, including burning a lot of brush. The rain here in Texas HAD been a blessing because we were in such a terrible drought. However, as things go in Texas, there is no middle ground. It is drought or it is a flood and that is now where we are at. It is flooding here, and now slowing up the process of getting our home ready to move into. So all those prayers that were prayed for rain are being answered and we have got more than enough rain now! We need about a week or two of sunshine to dry it up a bit - isn't that crazy - we would have not believed this back in the summer when we had our 67+ days straight of 100+ temperatures!!
But I did find some time last week to quickly put this basket together for a friend of mine after seeing the tutorial here. It was amazingly simple and easy to put together! It made such a cute treat holder, and a simple gift like this always brings a ray of sunshine wherever it goes!
I have not even had much time to play with the My Digital Studio, but that is something I definitely want to spend more time doing soon.
However, I just discovered a REALLY!!! interesting feature with MDS! You can record someone, such as your grandparents, children, anyone/anything and include that recording as a "hot spot" and then make a digital scrapbook album that can be played on the tv or the computer, and when you click on the "hot spot" you can hear your recording! You can also have a video hot spot too! I thought this is an amazing feature which hasn't gotten a lot of spotlight yet! I am amazed at all My Digital Studio will do! I am thinking of making use of this "hot spot" idea to record some things my kids are saying now, and also my parents, and Dan's parents with their memories growing up, so we can have them forever!
Today is a new day and full of possibilities - make it a great one! Don't forget to stop back by soon! Maybe with all this rainy weather I'll have a few moments to get creative again :)
