Stamp With Marilyn: TAGGED! TWICE!!

Okay, well I've been a bad girl - I've was tagged by Kathleen a couple of weeks ago and hadn't gotten around to posting and then was tagged AGAIN by another fellow blogger Beth - and so I've decided it's time to quit lollygagging around and play this fun game of tag!!

So here goes - seven random thoughts about me:

1. I love to camp - is that obvious? My post today was about our camping trip this weekend. It is the best way to have family time and no stress - hey - what's cheaper and more fun than lounging at the lake with a book in hand!! Lots of good food, being outdoors and soaking up the sun!

2. I love to read - I guess that's why blogging is so much fun for me - when I was in junior high I received a $25.00 cash prize from the librarian for reading so many books - they didn't have AR points then - too bad! I always thought I'd grow up and be a librarian - but here I am raising kids and reading when I get a chance!

3. My husband is gone Monday to Friday as his business keeps him out of town during the week. It is very lonely without him. We have our home for sale so we can move closer to the city where his business is. He would be home most every night if we moved. But I would miss all my friends and neighbors too if we moved, so it is a tough thing!!

4. I love to work out in my yard - my next favorite thing to do besides scrapbook! It is my dream someday to have a huge ROSE garden! And a yard with a sprinkler system would be nice too!

5. Okay - I'm only on five! Let's see. In the morning, I can't get moving until I've had my favorite mug of Chai Latte - General Foods International brand along with my South Beach Diet cinnamon raisin bar. I've been drinking/eating that combination for breakfast now for the past thee years, and I've never tired of it yet. Amazing huh!

6. I have a dog named Cosmo who was given to me by my sister. He is literally glued to my side most of the time. Get this - he is part lab and part Malteze - very strange combination, but he is the sweetest dog we've ever had.

7. My favorite snack these days is hot sauce and chips. I make my own hot sauce, and we go through a ton of it at my house!! Fresh cilantro and fresh jalapena peppers are the key ingredients to good hot sauce!

1. Ten years ago - I had two small children, ages 2 and 2 months and we were living in a second story apartment building. I'll never forget having to haul both of them in my arms up and down the stairs - one in a car seat - along with all the paraphanelia that babies require including the diaper bag. AND we had no laundry - so I had to haul them plus the laundry in a little red wagon over to the laundromat. No wonder I was so skinny those days!

Five things in today's do list:

1. Get dressed.

2. Finish cleaning after weekend camping trip.

3. Take clean sheets, towels etc. back out to travel trailer, and clean it too.

4. Make a trip to the bank.

5. Place Stampin Up order - today is last day to order from mini catalog.

Snacks I enjoy: As posted earlier - my homemade salsa and chips definitely - and Kettle jalapeno chips - they are awesome - I also enjoy snacking on any kind of nuts or cheese too.

Things I would do if I was a milllionaire: Pay off all our debts, buy a huge ranch on the lake or river (my husband and kid's dream) - help as many people as I could including my family and church and then invest the rest.

Places I have lived - Milton, PEI, Canada (my first 21 years of life), then moved to San Antonio, Texas. Then to Memphis, TN, Llano, TX, Marble Falls, TX and now Kingsland, TX.
